    Glad all's well with your part.

About shipping to Canada - you're right most companies won't make the effort to
ship via US Post and Canada Post.  Most grab the simplest - UPS.

Watch out for them though.  I just had a shipment come from Vic Brit via UPS.
UPS does the customs paperwork, and simply charged the GST (that's normal), but
then they added $55 Duty.  I had very carefully specified on my order to be
written on all invoices "Antique Car Parts - Duty Exempt".  Vic Brit did that,
but UPS ignored it.

 I refused to pay the $55 so the driver wrote it off.  I phoned Canada Customs
to make sure I was right, and was assured that to be true.  So phoned UPS and
they had by then removed it from my account.  Do you think they would have
forwarded the $55 to Canada Customs?

If at all possible insist on postal shipments.
