Alan, you can pivot the engine up by placing a jack (with board on it) at
the back of the engine. Once you do this you should be able to get the
tranny clear, also try pushing the driveshaft to one side. If all else
fails, go ahead and pull it, you have already done the hard part, the back
end is easy.
