So I decided pull the gearbox to replace the clutch as in my previous thread and got all the bolts out, but there's not enough room to pull it back to get the input shaft clear before teh other end hits the driveshaft. In fact it only creates a small crack between the bell housing and the engine plate when it touches the driveshaft. There must be some trick as you are not supposed to need to remove the driveshaft. So what's the trick then folks? Alan |
