Hi Jeff, One thing to remember about that firewall deck. Chances are there has been a lot of DOT 4 brake fluid leak onto it over the years. Once that paint has softened you have to get rid of it and neutralize the metal or any new paint probably won't last even with silicone. Bill Brockschmidt |
