I found a few cans of BBQ grill paint at the local Ace Hardware. I think
the color was called Dark Hunter Green, or something like that, but it was
the same as the BRG touch-up paint. I painted the engine when I rebuilt it
about 4 years ago, and haven't seen any problems with discoloration or
flaking with the BBQ grill paint.
BTW, the BRG hides dirt and oil rather well, it blends in with the
shadowing<g>

FWIW, I painted mine British Racing Green, with silver valve cover, timing
cover, etc. Looks pretty good (if I do say so myself).
