Hello again, Many questions today. How does one replace the rubber shift boot on a Spit with overdrive? Do you have to remove the shift lever from the transmission? The boot can't come up the lever due to the giant "tumor" thing in the middle of the lever for the wires to run through. Or do I have the wrong boot? Looking at my spare transmission it does not look like a fun task to remove the lever and actually have it work again.... Kevin Rhodes Freddy the Spit |
