If you get an electric gauge you will need another sending unit, the one for the light wont work, its just an on/off. You need a sending unit that changes resistance with changes in pressure and its range needs to be matched to the gauge. I have a temporary unit that is mechanical that I stripped from a 76 midget. It works well but the other half of the gauge that shows temperature is not working because the mechanical line to it is broken. |
