   What I did was get a small mechanical oil pressure guage, it's about 1" 
to 1 1/2" in dia.  There is a mounting kit that has basically a "Y".  You
remove the sending unit from the block.  Screw the "Y" in to the block and
then screw both the sending unit and the oil line for the mech. guage into
the "Y".  The guage is small enough that it can be easily mounted on the
dash by drilling a hole.  One of my parts cars had had this done, that's 
where I got the guage.  Really looked great.
