Bill,
All together now.... GM #7027, mention the clock position if
you care about how the wires are run. The Bosch one works fine too. The Gm is
63 amp output...good enough for big american iron, good enough for the
electrically-challenged LBC. It fit my '80 spit and works on my '63 as well.

p.s. you could use a Lucas from a beefier LBC, but the GM is about 1/3 to 1/4
the price and probably a bit more reliable.
