Funny, I've always read that the cheaper headers were an easier fit, because they weren't too concerned with ports matching exactly, whereas the more expensive headers needed more fiddling to get port matching as close as possible. that's why I was considering a cheapo extractor to make it easier to install. Without head work, does a header really make much difference on spits, other than less weight? or replacing a cracked manifold(like mine)? ron '78 1500 |
