Claes,
It sounds as if your starter solenoid has packed it in. You might
try tapping on the solenoid to see if it helps. If you can put a
breaker bar on the engine and turn it over, then the starter isn't
jammed against the flywheel. The only other possibility is that the
wiring has fried.

Hi!
I have newly become an owner of a Spitfire4 modelyear 1963. Any one

Problem:
Starter motor does not move.
Facts:
- Batterie is OK!
- There is a "click" sound when I turn the ignistion key. Probably the
starter relay.
- Worked properly when I collected the car but problem arised once I
got it off the trailer.
Anyone who could give me some hints where to start the problem
shooting ?
