Floorpan R/R

Is it possible to remove and replace the floorpans on a Spitfire without
taking the whole body off the frame?  Please be kind.  I know that's
probably a dumb question to those of you who have replaced them.  If I were
to remove the body from the frame to have that sort of remedial work done,
is it expensive to have the new pans welded in?  Thanks for your patience.
