Rich;

Consider the source. Just because the editors of that rag can't properly
handle an automobile doesn't mean that no one else can either. I have found
the handling of the Spitfire to be superior to almost every other 'stock'
car I've driven. Of course I haven't driven every type of car ever made...
yet. :)

Submitted for your consideration,

 December issue of Car Craft Magazine, page 18, has a list of ten cars
rated
by Hemmings as best values in overlooked collector cars, along with Car
Craft's commentary on the cars.

Number ten on the list, 62-67 Triumph Spitfire Mark I and Mark II.

Commentary reads as follows:

"Nasty handling when they were new, they've got to be downright scary now.
Give one to the relative you want to see wrapped around a telephone pole."

Don't flame me, I'm just the messenger. They also take a shot at BMW 2002's

and Sprites!
