Actually, buying a ticket on a plane for your cargo isn't too bad of an
idea, just don't make it go first class or get it a rental car.  But
seriously...

It's an inconvenience to you and to the person you're shipping to, but
airlines often do cargo service for items. You'll have to drive to MCI
airport and drop it off. Southwest has an online calculator...

I justs put in a destination of Orlando from MCI to make a regular freight
delivery of 90 lbs. by the 20th of December, 1999 and it cost $49.94) and
then your recipient must go to the airport in Orlando to pick it up.

Your recipient may want door to door service though (I mean, someone just
paid around $500 for a hardtop and now you're making him pick it up?).
Maybe you have relatives or a very kind hearted lister that would make the
trip for you to the MCO (Orlando) airport to his doorstep.

Just a suggestion. (Not a half-baked thought)
