Laura, It's been my experience that prices depend on a lot of local
factors. For example, it has been shown that Spitties are more common on
each coast and will command less dollars than one in the midwest where they
are scarce.
It also depends on the time of year. I'm still waiting for an enthusiatic
sugar-daddy to offer me a wad of greenbacks at some show on a warm day.
(Actually I have had offers for my car as a result of posting the pics in
carpictures.com)
And someone like Jeff who is looking for a specific Mark would expect to
search longer or pay more rather than someone who just wants a fun
convertible.
That being said, you can't buy my Spitfire at any price right now -- I'm
having too much fun with it.
