Kirk,
Yes, you still need the fuel pressure regulator. I have one on my car since
my DGV Weber flooded at idle without it. Also, a Weber carburetor book that
I have (written by Pat Braden) says that a pressure regulator is needed to
keep the pressure at 3.5 psi or below to prevent flooding.
