Hi list. I was wondering what all is involved in converting a 79 Spitfire
over to a 318 engine. Dose the engine fit right in without to much modifying?
What tranny should I use? How do I get a drive shaft for it? Can I use the
stock rear end? Basically I need the whole process described to me as I have
never modified a british car to an american V8. I'm not sure I even want to
do this but I am weighing the possibilities. I am selling my Trans Am to a
friend of mine cause I can't afford to take it with me when I move. So if I
could have a british & muscle car in one I would be very happy. Kinda like
have the best of both worlds. If anyone could help explain to me what I would
have to do I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
