Hi, Tom.
As I interpreted that diagram, after several hours of head-scratching
and cogitation, the rectangles are bullet connectors. The circled-Xs
indicate the difference between fore and aft ends of vehicle. I
suspect they more-specifically indicate where bits of the loom pass
through sheetmetal, but I can't confirm this, as my Spit is still sans
wires. In any case, wires to the left of the Xd-Os are ahead of the
rear bulkhead.
Hmmm. After answering the next question, I wonder if those might be
splices too. I just don't have any real harness to check those
speculations against.
On the RHD schematic, the shaded circles look like splices to my
untrained eyes. Ditto on p.248
Anyone able confirm or refute?
