I finally had time to install the tach I receive from Nikolai a month or so ago. It works perfectly, and has the correct black finish instead of the chrome one that was in the car. It looks so pretty my other gauges now look dingy and old. I'll have to clean them. I just had to write and say how nice it is that the car has a working tach now. I realized that the idle is set to just below 500 RPM, and ticking over nearly as quiet as my modern VW. Andy L. '70 Spit PS Anybody ever tried to make a clock out of an old gauge? |
