James, and anyone else with cooling problems: even if the radiator is
perfect and without blockage of any kind, the engine's coolant passages
might be clogged just enough. If you can remove the drain plug on the
block (or open the tap if so equipped) without getting a very strong flow
of coolant, you've got problems. Fortunately it often takes little more
than probing around the drain hole with a stiff wire to loosen things up,
and what a difference it can make!
