well, the alternator is in and running, BUT now i can't figure
out why my ignition light isn't turning off. every thing else
is working great, except the belt i bought is too long. i
bought a 45" and i should have gotten the 44". now, i know the
battery is getting charged, as i checked it with a volt-meter
before i started the engine, and after i started it. the only
thing i can see that might be a problem (although i don't know
how) is that i am getting a constant 12 volts (+/- .5 volts).
but, the ignition light won't go out! what may i have over
looked?
