Hello everyone:
I have recently acquired a very interesting restoration project which I am
going to begin immediately. I am curious as to whether others have found
or made conversions of this sort - GT6 into roadster. My car is/was a
GT6+(Mk 2) which has had a Mark IV Spitfire body fitted, while retaining
the original GT bonnet/chassis. Having looked it over briefly, I can only
wonder why Triumph never attempted what would have been a simple parts bin
shuffle - or would the car have been too competitive with the TR6?
Does anyone have one of these? Does anyone have any suggestions regarding
possible suspension changes due to the lighter roadster body, or is it just
fine as is? Any help would be appreciated.
