I would suggest using just _warm_ water with detergent in it. Don't
boil it or you may have an exploded float in a hurry. While it is in
the water, look around for the leak. It is probably a pinhole, but
the vapours leaving will leave you a trail of bubbles to trace right
to it. When you do find it, open it up a little, drain the fuel,
purge the float of ALL vapours and silver solder the thingy shut
again. Or epoxy, I suppose.
But be careful. We need to keep the LBC-er population.
