I would not tow a spit that has been sitting for 15 years any further than
a flat bed.  I don't think I would trust the tires or bearings.  I moved an
80 about 6 months ago and it only cost $35 to have someone move it about 20
miles. A lot easier than towing and frankly easier than putting it on a
trailer (it was winter and my son was away).
