Greetings,
I received a head gasket for my Herald 1200 from John Kipping the
other day.
It it metallic, but on one side it has a cloth/felt type covering. Does the
metallic side mate
towards the head and the felt covering side mate towards the block? There
are no markings
such as 'top' etc. on either side of the gasket. The gasket is exactly the
same on either side so it can fit either way. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
