I've gone the opposite way and fitted an early (tandem) brake m/c to a '78 Spit. It can be done if you swap m/c, pdwa, and all the intermediate lines together down to the first junction(s) below the pdwa (in the engine bay). Of course there's still the bulkhead clearance issue that has been previously mentioned. >Is it possible to use a later-type 1500 brake master cylinder in my MK 4 >spitfire?
