I just got back from a short drive (2 miles) last night and I opened the
hood to look for my idle adjustment screw (see my recent
posting......errrrrr) and the electric fan was on.  I didn't look at the
temp gauge, but it couldn't have been above the half way mark).  After
about a minute the fan shut off.  I don't know if that's right, but
that's what my car did.
