Mine stays at the halfway mark like it's painted on or something. If it 
goes above the K in U.K. then I know there's a problem. This is for the 
1296cc engine. I understand that the 1500's often run a lot hotter at idle.

I don't know what the actual temp is, but mine runs just shy of the
center mark on the temp gauge.  I've just always assumed the being in
the center of the gauge as where it was supposed to be, but I guess I
really don't know where it's supposed to be.
