I don't think "trunnions" are used very often in American engineering, but
I think a lot of old-timers here call it a "kingpin." Trunnions are what
function in the place of lower ball joints, right? If I'm correct on that,
then kingpin is the only other word I've heard used to describe it. I think
both terms have gone out of common usage along with the part. So old f*rts,
let me know if I'm right/wrong.
