Greetings and salutations!
I'd just like to let you all know that I am now officially insane in the
eyes of family and friends. Yes, I bought a green '79 Spit today. 41k
mi, partial leather int., great body... Lucas electrics. In the first
few hours of owning it, the turn signals stopped working. Fuses all ok,
hazard lights work, so I'm assuming it's the switch... any thoughts?
Then the tachometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge & wipers stopped (blown
fuse on those - no prob.)
Then the horn gets stuck. It's amazing how fast one can work with such
deafening noise!
All this in the first few hours, and I still love the car. (but help on
that turn signal would be greatly appreciated-thanks)
