This is very strange. On my 79 Spitfire.
The clutch pedal has an uneven jerky return, like a sticky spring or
something. All parts external to the bell housing have been serviced:
pedal pivot, pedal spring, master cylinder rod clevis.
What is strange is that when the engine is not running, this condition
does not exist. With the engine running, the stickiness is present.
There is NO noise from the rotating parts- t.o. bearing, pilot bearing,
clutch plate.
The only condition I can imagine is the master seal itself. Buy why
only when the engine is running?
BTW, I am using Castrol LMA in the system, if that makes any difference.
Oh, Sagacious ones, please help me.
