I was just looking for some confirmation on what I feel was
a great deal on an 80 Spitfire. The seller agreed to $1500. The
car has 25,000 miles, yes actual miles. Two year old paint, weber DGV
new top in box, new brakes, battery, altenator, master cyl,slave cly
and oh yeah, NO RUST. Really no rust. The gas tank needs cleaned out
and there's a clunking noise when driving(u joint at diff?)
I was just amazed at the care given to this car and hope something
isn't going to pull the rug out from under me. It's a
one owner car too. Any input would great.
I was subscribing to this list last year when I had my 76
Spit and it's a great resource, i'm glad to be back in the world
