72 Spit

I would like to thank all of you who have responded to my questions.

As you know I am thinking of buying a 72 Spit but I want to know just 
what I am getting into.....

The next question is how big a performance difference will I see 
between 79 Spit ( with DGV carb, headers, performance exhaust), and a 
stock 72 Spit?
