It sounds like it 10" too short. Is this an ATX or an MTX? Do you have
Underdrive Pulleys? If so, you need a longer belt. If the 455 fit fine, I'd
return the 445 for the longer one.

Subject: [Shotimes] Alt AC belt ('94), Throttle Cable Snap Rings, E-Brake cables
Getting back to a few odds and ends on the '94, can anyone tell me
the correct belt P/N for the Alt/AC belt? I have a K060445, but when
I tried to install it it just didn't fit! I couldn't get it over the
pulleys with the tensioner all the way loose. The car actually had a
060455 on it I believe. Is something wrong, or is this an error in
the manufacturer catalogs for the SHO?
Also, I managed to fix the messed up throttle cable. Someone had
turned it around so it was binding and sticking. When I went to
grease it and had help pushing the pedal, the end that goes into the
throttle started flipping around, and I immediately realized it was
twisted. Now it is functional, but loose. What size snap rings
should I use for it to remove the slack?
Finally, is there still a source for the ebrake cables? Last time I
checked, NAPA told me they don't have the front one. Also, can
anyone tell me if the e-brake being used affects the rear calipers in
any way? A brake shop told me that it adjusts them as the pads wear,
but that didn't exactly sound true to me. Right now they are
disconnected so they don't torch the new set of rotors and calipers,
but I would like to fix them if they are still available and it can
be done.
Thanks,
Chris
