Yep. The mfrs that say "ceramic" are just like the ones that use "Kevlar" in
the name. The percentage is miniscule, and it is a marketing ploy.
If you want ceramic brakes, buy the Porsche ceramic brakes and matching
rotors for about $25K for the set!!

lower friction. Not to be confused with any "performance" ceramic pads out
there, these were generic pads (PepBoys) that my wife HAD to have, some bozo
convinced her that they were quetier, cleaner, and "better braking" (as if
she's EVER cleaned a wheel in her life). I guess two out of three ain't bad,
but when the van felt like it had good brakes before, now it's a bit scary
in sudden stops.
I think there's a term out there for using the word "ceramic" in a product
description: value adder.
