Has anyone found a system they're happy with for putting a canoe on top of a vehicle? Yup, it's for my outdoorsy pal, birthday coming up. His car as a factory roof rack. We were wondering about clamping it down and some sort of padding between the metal canoe and the metal roofbars. TIA for any suggestions.
