We have 9 high hats in a long hall upstairs that was always being left on. 75 Watts each x 9 bulbs you do the math. I switched them all over to CF's EXCEPT the one over the staircase. It's nearly perfect, as the CF's reach 50% bright within 5 seconds. I also have a CF spotlight in my old craftsman drop light. It's very vulnerable to being broken if dropped, but it's really bright and only warm to the touch. Jack |
