I saw this setup on "This Old House" a couple of years ago.
It may have been an a small sequence on one of the TOH
spin-off shows.

| That's a nifty idea. But why would the valve need to be thermostatic
? Why not
| just a solenoid valve that only opens when the pump is running ?
