I do it on my two-stroke trials motorcycles by turning off the fuel petcock and letting the bike run the carb dry. It works pretty well for keeping the carb from gumming up with dried fuel. I wish chainsaws had fuel taps for that reason... dumping the tank is messy. Eric |
