Poulan is pretty much the bottom of the barrel for quality. Avoid them
and the no-name brands and you can equitably compare the other name
brands on features and power.
The only name brand I don't have a handle on is Craftsman. They have
some saws with decent features / power to price, but I don't know who
makes the saws for them. Does anyone know who manufactures Sears saws?
