Here is yet another thing that
can break and drive you nuts:  The
plastic tube that brings gas to the carb.
I had a leaf blower where that tube got a
crack, causing the carb to suck a mixture
of air and gas, it it would die whenver
I turned off the choke.  I did the
taking-the-carb-apart thing before I
noticed the real problem.
