I don't believe that's quite right. The ring voltage is pretty high
impedance (like the rest of the signal), while the ringer impedance varies
quite a bit. So what ringer you have will affect the voltage. I've seen
the voltage with no ringer go over 120v (although it's not supposed to).
Still, I wouldn't want to be in the tub with any of them.
But since drowning causes a lot more deaths than electricity, maybe we're
focusing on the wrong thing ?
