Or not.  Short term exposure to asbestos (like for one removal job with
reasonable precautions) is not especially dangerous, and if you don't know if it
contains asbestos then you can treat it like it doesn't. (For example by
removing it yourself.)

But only if you know that it contains asbestos.  If ignorance is bliss, tis
folly to be wise.
