I have a Bosch electric shear that cuts up to 16 gauge.  It still takes out 
the 1/8 inch strip which can get long and difficult
to manage, but it's smooth and fast with minimal vibration.  The nibbler 
will still make a tighter turn.  Paid $120 on Ebay.
