OK we're in agreement that my little Sears sander will work... now... give me some guidelines on what grits are best I'm doing small brackets and doo-hickeys and such for a truck rodsteration... on 3/16" plate and less ... usually plasma cut or a metabo cutoff wheel or even porta band saw what grit for general shaping....??? what grit for final finishing ....?? I'm thinking aluminum oxide or zirconium for the belt type but I'm lost on grit grade thanks again john |
