Hi guys

just saw the DeWalt DW872R 14 inch multicutter (with blade) in the Harbor
Freight Inside Track Club cat for $189.97; SKU: 55144-2TVA

I bought the reconditioned model in the Spring...used it to make a 4 x 8 x 2
(H) trailer box (to fit on the basic trailer frame from HF) and it it
GREAT....cuts MUCH faster than the abrasive cutter that I also have, and
VERY square ends mean no touch up before welding. It's so good, you can
play carpenter and cut it a little long, then go back and trim off an eighth
if needed. I'm still on the original carbide blade after about 100 cuts in
1 x 1 inch 11 ga (0.125 wall) sq tubing and angle. Miter feature works
well.

A new blade is $109 in the HF cat. I haven't priced resharpening it...70
teeth...I'll let you all know when I do.

I note that they sell the non-refurbished saw for $450 in the HF cat.

you can do the math...I think it's a great tool if you do this kind of
fabrication work.

FWIW, I ordered a second one as a spare ($80 bucks for the saw; 109 for the
blade)...and to keep in my future second shop (I suffer from excessive
long-range planning disease).

Paul
