The problem with the "new" jars is that they on screw
less than a quarter turn - it makes it hard to screw
on properly with out "cross threading" and risking
things falling.
The "old" jars used to actually turn quite a bit like
a peanut butter jar.

I never could find anything useful for the jars from when
my kids were young (and they are 21 & 19 now). I couldn't
give the jars away. Finally had to spin them up on the
trimmer and send them to the other dimension...
