If the shop were somehow sealed so well that the engine could significantly
reduce the air pressure inside, the walls would implode !
For example, 1 psi (roughly the pressure drop from climbing 2000 ft in
altitude, usually not enough to even make one lightheaded) across an 8x10
wall (really small shop here), would exert over 5 tons of force !
As long as you have a CO monitor, and don't sleep in the area, plumbing the
exhaust to the outside should be good enough. I like the sealed box with a
vent idea, but cooling may be a problem.
