FWIW, my neighbor has 2 of these tents. He builds and operates steam
boats.
He just leaves the ground as dirt. After a little while, grass doesn't
grow there and it doesn't get muddy.
If I we going to do it and I wanted to keep the cost down (and not make it
permanent) I would either do plywood (and replace it every few years) or
nothing.
A cheap option and more stable would be to have it paved. Paving is
pretty cheap and it's a great floor (and it's already raised from the
ground level.)
Note, jacks don't like pavement as much, however.

Subject: Re: Flooring for portable shelter?
Good ideas so far. I would like the feel and functionality of plywood, but
like was said that will rot. Ideally Trex would come in 4x8 sheets. The
carpet
idea is good but I need a floor underneath. The more I think about it the
more
I realize there's no quick & cheap solution that won't have me ripping it
up as soon as the current vehicle maintenance & storage crunch is over.
