my jack has the pad like yours has (I guess, mine has ~5" diameter, I've
seen the ones that are ~1.5" also). I just lift under a floorpan just
inside the pinch weld. no problem so far. otherwise I *think* I saw an
adapter in griots for the jack they sell to do just what you want. it
fits on the jack pad and fits into the pinch weld. but I dunno what size
pad it fits, or even if it was griot's. try www.griotsgarage.com. or
call lincoln, maybe they've got one.

I used to be on a piling foundation. I just crawled under the house and
cut a line near where I wanted a new one. then put on a new end fitting.
then put on a 'splitter' (they sell 'em at radio shack, home depot, etc.),
then route the line to your shop. they say all sorts of stuff about how a
splitter might cause static, so I grounded the it at first (per
instructions). later I ungrounded it and didn't notice a change. so if
you can't find a line, splicing a new one in isn't a big deal (except
for your cable company, who might want you to pay for getting cable to
another t.v.) on our new house all the lines go through the attic before
dropping down the wall above where it pokes through.
